Shelia Goss loves visiting schools and libraries and talking to young readers and aspiring writers. Her workshops are meant to stimulate the students interest in reading and writing.
School Visits
I am available for school, library, workshops, and other literacy events throughout the country and particularly in the Ark-La-Tex area. If you are a teacher, school media specialist, or librarian and are interested, feel free to contact me at sheliagoss@aol.com.
Shelia M. Goss is the author of the three book young adult series – The Lip Gloss Chronicles: The Ultimate Test (June 2009), Splitsville (September 2009) and Paper Thin (January 2010). She’s also received awards and accolades for her five women’s fiction novels. With over five years of publishing experience, Shelia’s presentation will include her journey as an author, her writing process, the publishing process, literacy and how reading relates to every day life. She will also do a reading followed by a question and answer session.
Shelia would be happy to tailor her presentation to mesh with what students are learning in class. If time is allotted, Shelia can also work with students in a miniature writing workshop.
