Black barbie This morning I came across a link for Mattel’s new Black Barbie collection on HomeGirl’s blog. I’m so excited to see this new line of Barbie dolls. I still remember how I felt (so many years ago…smile) when I unwrapped a gift from my parents at Christmas and was given my very first Black Barbie doll. I was the envy of my block. I’ll be buying the collection for my niece.

I know this site is for teens, but take it from this adult, you’re never too old to have fun. I know several adults who collect dolls and I’m sure they’ll be adding these to their collection. To learn more about the new collection, click here.
