Summer Reading Pics – Hollywood Library

I would like to share a few pictures from my visit to the Hollywood Branch Library on Friday. Prior to me speaking about the importance of reading, a few of the teens spoke about Juneteenth. (To learn more about Juneteenth, click here.)

There was at least one aspiring writer in the room.

This young lady is also an avid reader.

Summer Reading Pics – Hamilton Library

Here are a few pics of me and some of the patrons at the Hamilton Library. I spoke with them about the importance of reading and shared information about publishing books.

I asked the question, “How many of you like to read?” There were about 15 kids in attendance and 90 percent raised their hands.
